Andarin: The Mountains: green for earth

but my dreams, they aren’t as empty, as my conscious seems to be

She rested now. The weight of her belly had made her more tired than normal. She sighed into the grass of Andarin. Their blades fluttered from her nostrils like a wave on the ocean. It would be soon, she thought. She had missed Ulaume though. She knew this place would not hold her much longer. She knew a mare such as her could simply not be bound. It was foolish of Oceantree to even wish for it. Even in her realization she wished for it. Alas.

It was the color in the sky that averted her attention. She lifted her head from the bed of grass surrounding her. It was a strange sight, but she could not say it felt unfamiliar. There was something there. Something she knew. It wasn't soon after that she saw the speckled mare. She had done it at last. She stood, her bones creaking and her throat grunting. Her legs were shaky beneath her heavy frame, but she was still strong. The air colors dancing around her as if her own earth and water.

She only smiled.

"Lycoris...What did I tell you." Her smile grew wider. She had not been her teacher, but she still felt proud of her. As if in someway she was in a small sense. "Do you see now?" Oceantree might not have been a seer (yet) or an oracle, but that didn't make her any less wise. "Maybe someday the elementals will grace you with a second element even. You never know." And that was the truth. The elements were strong in legend and they did things on whims. It was a possibility anyway.

Now she really was MLP. Running up and down rainbows and the whole thing.
