Namir guarded him like the invisible leopard it was, choking him at his throat, clawing its way out. As of yet, he had let to release the creature that burned inside him, he could not let it, he was afraid of what could and might happen. But he has a feeling, the cat was a piece of him, and he would not forget it would just be him, him in a different body. The leopard mewed inside him as Nimir-raj came to him. Watching him curiously, he yearned for him to release it. For then, him and his familiar could be one and two. Two leopards so different running through the canons of the mountains.
But Micah was not careless.
He turned to the black leopard, as he padded towards them. His yellow eyes looming about his face before his attention turned to Oceantree. The Warden, your dream speaker sighs. “perhaps, there is always a reason to move on with your life, I do not wish to linger in the past any longer. Since I have been here things have changed.“ His eyes too venture from her to the mountains and its rock edges. “For me, I feel the Oracle power touching me, it is so different, and the air that seemed to come to me. I do not know what to do with it. But I accept it, because now it is apart of me.“
He doesn’t understand why he is sharing these thoughts with her. By all rights he shouldn’t, nor would he do willingly. But there is something about her, something comforting. Whether it was the fact the he too still felt like an outsider even here. Everyone always managed to pinpoint him, he was the one from the Ocean. And the sea-salt smell never seemed to fade from his flesh.
He does not try to touch her mind, for she is good at guarding it, thinking carefully. Sometimes he lets it wander, but for now the Oracle lets himself touch his own thoughts, dwelling within them and only them.
deception is charming;
liar, condescender, words born as bastards;
earth and air III; barkskin and namir
