Lycoris was sunbathing. Up on one of her favourite platoon, surrounded by little ribbons of air and grass. There now was nothing more Lycoris needed, except maybe a refreshing drink. But she could hold off on that until the sun was down behind the nearest wall of rock, and was less harsh onto her. The cool pool that she begun dreaming of was a mere couple of bounds away, and she almost dozed off, with her amber eyes closed in the warm sun, thinking of the crystal cool pool.
But a rattling of stones catches her attention. One eye opens, bright and amber, with swirls of different colour, and it shone, like a well-polished, dark topaz. Wriggling in her spot slightly, she opens her other eyes, because she was sure that sound was not something of her imagination. That sort of rattling noise didn’t happen near the relaxing pool of water.
“Helloooo?” Lycoris calls, still on her back, legs folded half in the air. She moves her head though, and spots half a horse or so. Remaining there with half a wolf in sight Lycoris calls, “Hello there! Enjoying the sunny weather?”
