Andarin: The Mountains: eventually, we all forget; courage

He could not help a smile when he saw her.

The same Courage that he had met so long ago, just older and more renowned through the Elements. Although some part of his really does miss the sea-salt smell of the air and the constant wash of waves, he is happy here, or at least as happy as he can be.

But the smell is strong on her, and immediately he misses everyone he has known, but he cannot return there, not whilst his daughter Epos roams about the sea. He has a vague feeling she will never forgive him for leaving so soon, for never watching her grow and get to know him, or him to her. He misses Rowan as well, his ghost-lover. But for now he forgets it, because he has too and he cannot dwell upon the past to often, it could only bring you down.

He meets her half way, twisting his neck around hers, Nimir-raj comes up behind him, sitting there as he watches them. The cat cannot help but share his feelings about the reunion. Nimir-raj fits better in with the mountains, but for some reason, he just doesn’t agree with their departure.

“I’ve missed you too, how is Solira fairing?“ He is curious. There is always news and stories that get scrambled and mixed, but when it came from the Solirians, but must be true, right?

“I am doing well, or about as well as I can be.“ He sighs for a moment.
