Micah’s ego curled up a long time ago, and decided it wanted to be a hard shell and be indestructible! Truth is, the poison sinks in, but there has always been something about Micah that does not let it wound, not permanently. It rebounds and once again he tries to be optimistic.
Call it a curse, call it pathetic.
Because by all means, it is. Micah knows how to take a mental hit, blow, cut, stab. Whatever it may be, and he doesn’t crumble, but one day, one day he will fall.
And fall hard.
“I’d like to snatch her.“ He admits, although the reasoning for why he had just admitted it shriveled up and died. And words fumble from his mouth. “But I can’t even if she has a nonexistent mother, she will come around, some day she will see the failure Solira has written all over its beaches. One day, she will understand.“ Whether its really what he thinks, or he was honestly trying to comfort himself it was hard to say.
Eventually, he may even realize things never happen like they are ‘suppose’ to.
Small choices change many things, like coming to Andarin? Yeah, small choice, big changes. But no regrets, because he tries hard not to regret. She was right, maybe it was for the best. And it is now he lets it go, lets her go, because as much as he loves her, he doesn’t love her at the same time.
Inevitable.
What a bad father!
Then the question came as he looks to her. “Do you have children?“ Although he doesn’t know why he asks, because he doesn’t have too. And its not like he keeps up with much of the spies, or he would of known her own twins were Legends.
