It was a dominant smell, and it’s what came to Lycoris first. It is what intrigued her first to begin with, and it found her this two-toned mare. That was enough for now, as Lycoris wriggled in front of Oceantree. Although curious about the solemn expression, Lycoris kept her smile and alert ears.
Whatever Oceantree was, in the end it would matter little to Lycoris. She was a mare of much love, and even if this black and white mare had killed someone, Lycoris wasn’t planning on shunning her. Because that was rude, and Lycoris was never intentionally rude. The speckled mare was lovely scholar, who wasn’t keen on ostracization.
“Oh gosh!” Lycoris coos, her amber eyes bright as she skitters on the spot. She would not be fussed to discover that Oceantree had a peek into her mind, Lycoris could not wait until she was able to do that herself. And also, Lycoris was hardly ever thinking something that needed to be hid. The girl had nothing bad to say, the closest thing to a scandalous thought about Oceantree was, ‘I wonder why she’s not smiling’. “That’s a while then Oceantree! I’ve bet you seen lots of things. Have you got any killer stories!?”
