Posted by Deena on 10/6/2004, 3:44 pm, in reply to "Happy Birthday" I can't count exactly how many times the felt has been replaced on the Rem's pool table or how many times we've hosted the now infamous Engineering Poker Game (repleat with the 'gift' that has upped many antes over the years). I know countless bowls of gagh and steins of bloodwine have flowed past Maak's lips, Dee has employed many a bouncer and barmaid, schlepped the coffee cart through Ops more times than we care to count and even had a brush with the darker side of death while ripping off Edgar Allen Poe. It's hard to nail down one or two favorite moments on Arcadia, each and every post, past and present, have brought a lot of emotions to the surface for me. Writing with you all has been a joy and an honor, and I cherish that dearly. I'd be remiss, however, if I didn't mention a few of you by name. Captain Bell, my biggest fan, thank you for always pumping up my already inflated ego. Thank you, Jo, for giving Dee a reason to exist and for all the great set-ups (and bagpipes) you've given me. And speaking of bagpipes, thank you Garion, for making Tessa....Tessa And one final note goes to my friend, Jim, who will probably never see this, but bears a huge nod, none the less. Although no longer a part of SOUL, you're always the first person I think of when I see Yol mentioned in a post. Thank you, most of all, for giving the Rem a heart and a sense of humor. I miss you.... *orange*
