I guess my state feels that just writing "achieved" or "mastered" is not enough information. we have IEPwriter and it does have a section for mastered, not mastered, improvement, slight improvement...etc. But I have to add the specifics in addition. I am required to be very specific in my progress reports. so and so is producing /l/ with 65% accuracy. some of my parents would never accept just a generic term. They want quantifiable information on where exactly their child is on the progression of that goal during each quarter. Plus when there are lawyers and advocates getting involved more and more I wouldn't feel comfortable not being specific enough.
