This child often appeared to go into her "own world" and self-talk throughout the day. Self-talk did, however, increase during more challenging tasks. Scheduling breaks didn't eliminate it completely (I really think it was something she needed to do) but we did see a reduction in the self-talk and an increase in work production. Hope it turns out ok.
