I agree it isn't always the number on our caseload but the needs. ASHA also talks about this too. Sometimes I might have a higher number but the needs are more managable while other times it is the opposite.
I am in MN and there are not caps on our caseloads. My district looks at apx 45 (give or take)when figuring Full Time Equivalents.
