We do not have cap in Iowa and most people are overloaded. Our agency does not have a specific preschool team, so each SLP must make time in their schedule for home intervention preschoolers (birth-3) in addition to school loads. It is so difficult to focus on the most needy when your caseload is so high. Also the paperwork just gets worse. What happened to the good old days when an IEP consisted of 3 pages plus referral, permission to evaluate and report. 36 pages to start a student is ridiculous.
