You said the percent syllables he stuttered on was 6.5% in your first post, so that would be the percent not fluent. Are you asking about percent words stuttered? According to the SSI-3 p. 4 of the manual, a 6.0% syllables stuttered equals 8% words stuttered and 6.7% syllables equals 9% words. If you want to be exact, then count the words and do as you said (Divide number of stuttering events by total number of words and move the decimal 2 spots).
