Well, I just looked down a little and saw I had posted some stuff to you before on counting and one of the tips said:
"Filler words or starters are counted as disfluencies; multiple filler words used to initiate an utterance are counted as one disfluency."
However, the example on the SSI-3 certainly seems to indicate that the test does not count them. The example says, "I'm gonna get uhm de de de dem too." It's counted as 7 syllables and 1 stuttering event. If they counted fillers, then it would've been 2 stuttered events. So, sorry for the confusion on that point
