Is this child stimulable in any position? If so, I would ask the parents to come in with the child so that you can show them how you facilitate production and that he is able to produce it. The only way it will be corrected, as the others stated, is constant redirection, but it will help if the parents can physically see for themselves that he (with your assistance) is able to do it.
