Should I work on intelligibility with a teen with Downs'? We worked on articulation years ago, but she wasn't progressing. I've come up with a communication book to assist with her speech, but she rarely uses it. I'd say that 50% of listeners wouldn't be able to understand her speech. Do I work on this and if so, where would I start? TIA!
