Auditory Processing Assessment

I am having some difficulty coming up with an informal assessment for auditory processing. I am working on evaluating this 5 year old who has difficulty sustaining attention for more than a few minutes at a time. The teacher is struggling in the classroom to keep him focused. I need some type of observation checklist or informal assessment to test for his auditory attention/processing skills. Please help if you have any ideas or can point me in the right direction!!
