I use a story format. You can ask Q's w/ target forms and they answer in full sent. You can write repetitive sentences or story re-tell on large sheet of kraft paper and have them re-read, sequence.
If they still need drill, there are some activities in materials exchange (like for pronouns).
If I cannot find a story, I make up my own, loaded with the forms I want to target-add a few pics from google images (or your preferred search) -you can send copies home for practice.
