Hey Imani, I'm a fellow SUNY Purchase alumni,[ actually we were there at the same time; I was supposed to be in Jeffrey but dropped out] ANYHOW, just wanted to say that I was really excited by your album (Legend of a Cowgirl was the only song I could play pool to for a very long time, much to the annoyance of many a patron as I would play it repeatedly). I even brought your cd all the way to Hawaii on a trip I had last May. I recently started listening to it again and am constantly wowed by your talent AND was totally diggin your performance on Sessions (although I wish I had taped it) soooooo I will be sending some dough soon to get the new cd. Would love to hear of your next gig in NYC area!
