MAX186 ADC project

I'm just wondering what kind of serial LCD was used to implement the voltmeter. I'm trying to repeat the project using a Hantronix HDG12864f-1 COG LCD from www.hantronix.com. Has anyone tried this if so any help is greatly appreciated.
