I am trying to build a transmitter and a reciever that will sound an alarm when the transmitter is active. I was thinking that the reciever could switch a relay that would turn the alarm on. The transmitter would be powered by a 12V supply and would begin transmitting as soon as 12V was supplied. It would also need to transmit up to 50 meters and through a wall. I plan on using this as sort of a silent car alarm that will sound an alarm in my apartment if a door is opened on my car.
