A few Fridays ago, it was bring your Teddybear to school day. I was standing in the lunch line, when one of my students came up behind me. I turned, and saw his cute little bear grasped in his hands, and said, " Pat, What a great looking bear. He looks so soft and cuddly and friendly... I really like him."
Pat said, " Well, I'm surprised you like him."
I asked " Why does that surprise you?"
"Because," he said, " this is the bear that eats all of my speech homework!"
