Just this week I brought a child in for testing who had transfered from a different school district. The previous IEP had stated she was on monitor for articulation. When I brought her into the room I started out with conversation, asking her how she liked school etc. I told her that I was going to listen to her speech sounds, etc. When I asked her if some sounds were tricky for her to say she looked at me very seriously and said "I have a really hard time with......How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood......."! Just thinking about it now makes me laugh! Needless to say, she isn't qualifying for services at this time
