It was share day in class(everyone brings a toy or book to share with the rest of the class.) William, one of my articulation children, came up and told me he had lost his share. I asked all the usual questions. "Did you have it on the playground? Is it in your desk? How about looking in your cubbie?" William looked at me perplexed. "What color is it?" William looked even more puzzled as he said, "blue!"
"Is it in your backpack?" "NO!" said William more frustrated than ever.
"Where did you last have it?" I asked as frustrated as William now. "In front of my desk," yelled an exasperated William.
Then it hit me. William has a problem with "sh" and "ch" sounds. We did find Williams "CHAIR!!"
