I was giving the CASL to one of my high school students with autism. I showed him a page where the first picture was something like "Johnny bought a birthday cake," the next picture was "Jim lit the candles," and the next picture was blank for the student to say what happened next. He looked at me as seriously as he could be and said "and then everything went blank."
