Posted by hope on 9/4/2003, 10:53 pm Mikie, a young life skills student, bounded into class today waving a completed homework paper (several symbols cut out and glued in the proper place on a worksheet). "Teacher, teacher," he called happily, "Look what my daddy did!" "Mikie, did you say your father did your homework for you?" asked the teacher. "Uh, huh!" answered Mike proudly. "Why didn't you do it yourself? asked the teacher. Mikie replied, "I was asleep!" Note to self:

Here's a scene I witnessed this morning that had me chuckling all day.
(1) a future class lesson in personal responsibility? --- yes
(2) a future lesson in honesty? --- not needed in Mikie's case! :-)
