I recently was trying to show a group of second graders how to produce the /s/ sound. They were eagerly telling their classroom teacher about all the steps to say the /s/. One boy told the teacher "Mrs. Prokes learned us how to say the /s/." Perhaps I need to revisit their goal sheets.
