I work with 7th-12th grade students. Recently, while discussing examples of appropriate and inappropriate topics, a student with Asperger's asked me what religion I was. I told her Christian and protestant, giving examples of Lutheran, Baptist, and Methodist. "Oh," she said, "I'm Methodist." She thought for a moment and added, "I think my friend is a protestant, too. She said she was a pedestrian." After a I quit grinning I explained the difference between pedestrian and Presbyterian.
