Wow, there are no words 
Parents try and I know they're grasping for anything, but I've had to explain when asked point-blank to get these for their children (at the IEP), why Facilitated Communication was not appropriate (at all) for their verbal student and in a separate meeting why the Speech-Easy device (fluency) was not appropriate for a low cog. non-verbal student. I'd like to get a little warning before-hand, please!
P.S. I also hate meetings where parents diss on their kids...so sad.
Sometimes we have parents bring cookies (awesome!)
