A kindergarten boy came into therapy yesterday, all excited. With much drama, he exclaimed, "Guess what, Mrs. S? My father was born in 1974!"
"Wow!" I replied, more impressed that he remembered the year than anything else.
He then got very serious and said, "Let me ask you something. Were there dinosaurs in 1974?"
I was barely able to contain my laughter and replied, "No, the dinosaurs were a few years before that." Meanwhile, I was feeling like a dinosaur -- 1974 is the year I graduated from high school! :-)
