Years ago, I worked in a rural area of Hawaii and was testing a preschooler. I showed him a picture of a leaf and asked, "What is this?" He innocently answered, "Pakalolo". In Hawaiian Creole or Pidgin "pakalolo" is the name for marijuana! Needless to say, I moved on rather quickly to the next page.
