My school counselor turned beet red when he told us this story at lunch today:
He was talking to a first grade class and asking each child to state his/her name and the best thing that they like about being in first grade.
A little girl said her name and then said, "I wike to pway wit penith". Immediately, he goes into counselor mode and thinks he has to call CPS and make a report. She repeats "I wike to pway wit penith." He must have looked horrified because the little girl sitting next her yelled "She said, She likes to play with Peanuts!!! (the class hamster)
Oh, I wish I could have been there to see our counselor's face!!!!!!!!!
