I have a son that is high functioning autistic. He would say, " where ban mom ?". I had no idea what this meant. He had just started talking a3 word sentance.
A week later the school calls me and said they need an emergency meeting. I go and they said the lunch lady needed to talk to me because my son had swore at her several times.
I go and there was my son in the lunch line, the lunch lady asked what do you want, he said bish ( sounds like itch). All the staff said did you hear what he called her. I asked what was on the lunch menu. Lunch lady replied fish or hot dog or grilled cheese, but where did your son learn to use that kind of language and why aren't you punishing him.I laughed because my son loves fish. I told them that he said fish not bi---- then I told the speech therapist this story and she was able to correct this. Story ending " where fan mom"
