One day while working with one of my students we were working on the initial sh sound!! He told me that his mom and told him the sh word last night, so I held my finger up to my mouth to show him the SSSHHH sign, assuming that she had asked him to be quiet. He said no Mrs. Shelley, the bad SH word!! I had a little giggle and explained to him that he shouldn't say that word!!
