I work w/ a 2nd grader who is not on the spectrum but definitely a little "odd" at times. I love working w/ him as he is very creative and comes up w/ great ideas although they can be a little off the wall at times.
3 things he's discussed in great detail lately:
1. How he's going to love living in wine country in this great new house his family is moving to. Turns out it's the HGTV Dream Home that he's convinced his mom is going to win. (I hope he does win!)
2. He's come up w/ a new invention and has even made up blueprints for a KELP (yes, seaweed) NOUGAT Candy bar. He's convinced it's the thing that will make him a millionaire.
3. Twice now, he's mentioned that he did something on "yesterday's yesterday,---that's 2 days ago".
He always makes me smile no matter how rough the day has been.
