I was having a 6th grader read aloud to practice carryover of artic sounds. He was not a great reader, but I wasn't correcting his reading errors as that wasn't what I was listening for. He came upon the words "to whom" which he pronounced "to wom". Then he stopped, thought for a second and said "Huh, must be some Chinese guy" I did laugh out loud!!!
