I work in a preschool and I like to use snack time as a motivator for those who either don't talk or who need a lot of coaxing to talk. One day I was working with a boy who had gummy bears, which he likes a lot. I picked them up and was asking him questions trying to get him to tell me he wanted the bears. I even pretended I was going to eat one if he wouldn't talk to me. A little girl sitting across from him said "I will give you mine if you will let him have his". I had to do some quick explaining but she was just too cute!!
