I work at a private practice and sometimes nannies bring the children to therapy. On election day, one of the nannies asked, "Are you able to vote today?" I replied, "I'm going to try to make it there after work.." She said, "I wasn't asking you if you're GOING to vote, I was asking if you are ABLE to vote." I was confused, until she clarified: "Are you old enough? You look like you're 16."
