I have a 3rd grade boy who is working hard on multiple meaning words. I gave him a card with the word "flew" and asked him to use it in a sentence. He said "I have the flu today." I told him, "That was a good sentence Levi, but this is the other 'flew.' It's what the bird did." His reply: "The bird has the flu today."
