Taking my three year old (who is now 18, yikes!) to prechool everyday, we would cross a bridge over the Geat Miami River. Always the speech therapist, I would slow down my production to help him articulate better. One day I modeled, "my-am-ee river" to which he replied, "Oh, YOUR am-ee river!"
