My last name is VanNocker, which is quite difficult for some of my students to pronounce. Most of them have it down by this time of year, but I still have one who calls me "Miss Knock Knock". I also had a child the other day working on defining words by using them in a sentence. His word was disguised. He came up with the sentence, "You know, like how you get dressed up in a costume and get despised like a pumpkin or something." It made my day...
