Posted by kjslp on 10/2/2007, 7:50 pm Allergies are in full swing where I live and one of my students came in and told me he was losing his voice. He said something to another student and his tone was a little harsh so I asked him to say it again using a kind voice. He replied, "but I told you I was losing my voice and I already lost the kind part." When working on "why" questions with one of my boys I asked him why he wouldn't want to wear the same clothes as his twin sister. Despite my leading questions he could only come up with "I just wouldn't." and "I would get in trouble because it's not the same as my uniform." After pushing him a little further to state the obvious (she's a girl), he said, "Because her clothes are so tacky!"
