I was recently walking to my room with a fourth grade student. The student is very loud and outspoken. As we passed by the restroom he stated in a loud voice, "I gotta pee." I turned and gave him a dissatisfied look to which he replied, "Can I pee?" I called him by name and said what should you ask hoping he would change pee to restroom or bathroom. He then bluted out, "May I pee?" His manners may be lacking but at least his language is improving!
