A 4th grade girl had some issues with social language, but had no problem sharing her thoughts. One day I wore a new outfit that I thought was especially attractive. She complimented my outfit and said that I looked beautiful. In fact she said that I was wearing the "beautifulest" outfit she had ever seen. I was thrilled that she was able to convey her thoughts in such an appropriate manner. As I was thanking her for her kindness she said "Do you know why I like your outfit? I like it because it makes you look just like a big old green frog!". Needless to say, that outfit was placed in my next garage sale!
