Our school just completed a unit on Texas. Each day the Texas pledge was recited following announcements.
I was asking my kindergarten students if they had learned the pledge, and they assured me they had. In unison, they said, "Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible. And now for a moment of silence."
