My first year as a therapist in the public school system, I was with a 7 year old self-contained student. I asked him what makes him happy, his face lit up and he informed me that worms make him happy. He thought about it for a minute and then quickly added "and girls." I was a little nervous asking him why girls and worms make him happy, and without missing a beat (and looking at me like I was stupid) said "you know, when you put worms down girls back and they scream, that makes me happy." I laughed for the rest of the day!
