My speech room is in a trailer next to the school where I work. The special education teacher and the guidance counselor also work in there so our trailer was given the name of "The Learning Center". Last week I went in the kindergarten class to get two of my students and the teacher said, "Okay Joey and Jimmy, you need to get ready to go the the Learning Center". Another little boy turns around and says to the teacher, "Why are they going to a babysitter?". The teacher laughed and told him that she had said "The Learning Center" and told him what that was. I think that little boy might need checked for auditory processing problems:-}
