My 3 year old has a bit of a frontal lisp and some trouble with /r/. My mom insists she needs therapy, but as an SLP and being able to elicit the sounds, I disagree. I picked my daughter up from my mom's house to take her to preschool. Took her coat off and found the sweat shirt her grandma embroidered with her new machine. "my mommy ith a peech teachaw" which my daughter 'read' to everyone at school.
