This is more heart-warming to me than funny. I have a little girl who, because of scheduling conflicts and frequent absences, I've only seen about half as much as I "should" so far this year. She's a sweet little girl who, to me, has potential that she may not be able to show given her situation (that's the best I can explain it... I hope you all know what I mean). Anyway, every time she sees me in the hallway, she says hi. This little girl is hard to understand, but she's so cute! Today, I was sitting in my room with the door open. She came running in to say hi (I bet she would've hugged me if I were standing). She stood next to me and asked what I was doing. I sent her on her way because I know she wasn't supposed to be in my room. But, it's nice to know that this little girl likes me enough to literally run into my room just to say hi. :-)
