I am working with a 6 year old who has severe language difficulties. One day he said that his family was going to move as soon as mommy "got the baby out of her belly". I asked him how long that was going to be, and he pondered for the longest time, but I could tell he didn't really know what to say. So I said, "is she going to get the baby out of her belly in 2 years?". "Yes!" he said, "in 2 years, after mommy's baby comes out, we are going to move".
We are now starting to work on some basic temporal concepts!!
