The Cup Lites portion of the program consisted of: 10 lap heat races, an autograph session, a 100-lap feature race, and will run along with other Hollands NASCAR Weekly Series events. This special Cup Lites Touring Series race event will be taped and be Televised on the EMPIRE Sports Network on Both: Thursday September 11th at 8:00pm and Sunday September 14th at 7:00pm. The Bob Bender Memorial Race was founded in 1998 to commemorate Bob Bender, the brother of Tim Bender the Cup Lites founder. Everyone who wishes to participate may sponsor one or more laps at $20.00 per lap. All proceeds go towards the race purse, activities for the day, additional prizes and a donation to the Bob Bender Scholarship Fund. Lap sponsors names are announced during the course of the evening and will be made part of our written program. The Bender Family will be very active throughout making various charitable awards and trophy presentations to the winning teams and drivers.
